A few years back I tried my hand at a few doilies and completed a couple small ones. I bought several doily books tried a more complicated one and it sits waiting to be finished.When I frequented Crochetville I fell in love with Kathryn A. White's doily patterns. Then a couple weeks ago I heard her on Get Loopy (yes, yet another podcast that I listen too). Kathryn is very talented and you can check out her wonderful designs at Crochet n Beads. Anyway, Mary Beth Temple (Get Loopy) has weekly contest and I won three beautiful doily books by Kathryn A. White--A Cavalcade of Doilies, Irish Beaty Doilies, Doily Threesomes.
I have a tin tub full of crochet thread that I had to dig out of my craft closet...maybe if I display it in full view, I'll actually try doilies again.I'd like to thank Kathryn A. White and Mary Beth Temple for the exquisite doily books.
